LITTLE COTTONWOOD WATER TREATMENT PLANT ONSITE IMPROVEMENTS - SANDY, UTAH

Alder returned to the Little Cottonwood Water Treatment Plant after a successful completion of our first phase of construction there in 2005. More information about that phase of construction ...here... Phase 2 of this project included construction of the 270 foot diameter finished water reservoir and finish water pump station which consisted of six vertical pumps mounted in suction cans, electrical control equipment and all associated piping and valves. Work also included upgrades to the chemical storage and feed systems of the existing plant. The final completing task was the 60" connecting line

This is a mid-construction aerial photo of a 270 foot diameter finished water reservoir that was part of this phase of work. This structure was recognized at the 2008 Excellence in Concrete Awards by the American Concrete Institute. Alder is proud to have worked with Build Inc. to complete this structure.
